Pete Davidson Ditches Insta & Ariana Grande Mutes Comments After Backlash

After hitching his wagon to Ariana Grande‘s star, all eyes were on Pete Davidson and if I’m honest, I don’t think he’s handled the pressure very well.

Not only has he gotten into social media beef with Grande’s loyal followers, the Arianators but comments he made about the bombing at his fiancée’s Manchester concert last year were dug up and resulted in a whole lotta backlash against the comedian.

Davidson has basically come to the realisation that social media is not his friend, therefore he’s tapping out.

The 24-year-old wiped his Instagram account clean of all the posts, included several hot shots with his soon-to-be wife.

As you’ll notice from that spiral around his DP, the SNL star left one final message on his story before he checked out.

While Grande thankfully hasn’t followed suit (God really is a woman), she’s turned off comments to all her pics and vids so people can no longer come for her bae.

The sad social media activity comes the day after Pete defended himself in the comments of the singer’s tribute to her grandfather on the four-year anniversary of his death.

“Miss n love you forever my best friend #4years,” Grande wrote alongside a photo of herself and her late grandpa.

After her lover replied, “omg what a cutie,” fans assumed he was complimenting his fiancée and called his comment “unnecessary” and “inappropriate.”

Davidson was quick to clarify his remark, explaining that he was referring to Grande’s grandpa in his comment.

“Are you guys all insane? I was talking about how cute her grandpa is. What’s wrong with that?” he wrote. “You guys will really look for anything to attack people. It’s sad.”

As Pete said in his farewell message, he’ll probably be back (they aaaaalways come back), but until then I want you nasty trolls to sit in the corner and think about what you’ve done.
