Ant-Man tends to be one of the more easily-forgotten entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it was definitely pretty fun. And a nice vehicle for Paul Rudd to be Paul Rudd, which is always lovely and welcome.
Next to the much more hyped Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel does indeed have an Ant-Man film lined up for 2018: Ant-Man and the Wasp. The plot is about Ant-Man rescuing his counterpart The Wasp (Evangeline Ifrom the so-called quantum universe, a plotline which was teased at the end of the first film.
The trailer is here, and it looks… pretty good! It seems that they’re leaning heavily on what worked in the first film, which was assuredly the parts where Ant-Man became either extremely small or extremely large. Check it out:
It lands in theatres on July 6th.
