Amy Poehler & Nick Offerman’s Crafting Show Cops A Trailer & It’s Cute AF

It’s happening, mates! It’s finally happening! Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman are reuniting for a show on NBC that’s more or less MasterChef but for arts and crafts. Just without the overtly savage competitiveness thrown in.

Better still, the show has an official trailer and it looks cute as heck.

The series is called Making It and it will feature a cast of eager beavers duking it out over the course of the season, vying to be crowned the inaugural Master Maker. Each episode comprises of two challenges – one timed and one themed – using a variety of different crafting disciplines like painting, drawing, woodworking, metalworking, and so on and so forth.

Poehler and Offerman are serving as the show’s hosts, using Offerman’s long-history of woodworking and crafting and Poehler’s overall sense of holy shit it’s Amy Poehler to breathe life into the series.

NBC dropped the first trailer for the show a little earlier today, showing off Making It‘s planned aesthetic which is, not to put too fine a point on it, pants-splittingly adorable.

We still might be living in a world without any new episodes of Parks & Recreation to look forward to, but this is as close to a full-on Leslie Knope/Ron Swanson reunion as you’re likely to see and there ain’t a dang thing wrong with it.

Making It premieres in the US on July 31st, though there’s no word at this stage whether it’ll wind up airing “legally” on local Australian screens.

Folks, it’s an entire show dedicated to Amy Poehler being lovely and enthusiastic and Nick Offerman building shit. This is the dream.
