Instagram is still really weird about the female anatomy, especially where nipples and pubic hair are concerned, but if you think for a minute that’s going to stop Amber Rose, you are most sorely mistaken.
On Friday, the model-slash-actress took to the network to make a post in support of her Amber Rose Slut Walk event, and shared a photograph of herself reclining regally on a staircase, wearing a bikini on top and nothing down below.
Instagram, whose policy on nudity is strict, were not keen on the sight of Rose’s uncovered pubic hair, and as expected, sprang into action and deleted the photograph from her account.
Rose, however, was fairly satisfied that she had gotten her message across, and made a follow-up post rolling her eyes at Instagram for its prudishness, and hashtagging #bringbackthebush.
Since then, she has been having an absolute field day on Instagram, filling her feed with meme after glorious merkin-filled meme, poking fun at the platform for its seemingly arbitrary stance on pubes.
Like these? She’s got a million of ’em.
