Amber Heard has put claims to rest that her divorce from Johnny Depp is just about the money, after opting not to receive temporary spousal support from Depp while divorce proceedings go on.
Heard faced backlash after making accusations of domestic violence against Depp, with allegations that she was (for some fucking far-fetched reason) making it up and only going after Depp’s money.
Heard had requested temporary spousal support believing that it was standard practice in divorce proceedings, and upon facing criticism for the request, filed a declaration with the court removing it as an option.
In the declaration she stated the mistake was being “used against me to distract and divert the public away from the very serious real issue of domestic violence.”
