The story of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard‘s divorce is taken a devastating new turn – the 30-year-old actress has submitted a photo to the court of bruises and cuts on her face, stating that Depp assaulted her on Saturday night.
She’s filed a domestic violence restraining order against her estranged husband.
TMZ reported last night that Heard had the injury when she appeared in court on Friday, stating ‘Johnny assaulted her and she is a repeat victim of domestic violence’.
Heard claimed that he slammed his iPhone into her face, and he shattered various objects in the apartment.
She said she called a friend during the fight, and when Johnny grabbed her phone she screamed to her friend, “Call the cops!” The friend called 911 and cops came to the residence.
TMZ also reported that Depp offered Heard money to stay quiet about the alleged assault, but she filed for divorce instead.

A source for People has said that “it not an isolated incident”.
Before this story broke, Depp’s representation made a statement about the divorce proceedings:
“Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life.Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.”
