Abercrombie & Fitch Move Beyond Frat Boys, Drop Gender Neutral Kids Range

Hugely popular US clothing brand Abercrombie & Fitch has just announced a new range of clothes for their Abercrombie Kids line and impressively it’s all-gender inclusive.

Called the Everyday Collection, the clothing giant’s newest kids offerings are 100% unisex, with 25 different street-wear inspired outfits and accessories for boys, girls or others.

The decision came about after multiple focus groups run by the company proved parents and kids are moving away from pre-conceived notions of gender and towards gender neutral options.

In a press release, brand president Stacia Andersen says:

Parents and their kids don’t want to be confined to specific colors and styles, depending on whether shopping for a boy or a girl.

Our Everybody Collection is one assortment, in one size run, that covers the trends we are seeing in both color and style. We are excited to offer these additional options and are looking forward to building on this initial collection for summer and the back-to-school seasons.

Abercrombie bailed out of Aus a couple of years back, but the Everyday Collection range is available in $AUD on their online store here.

NICE ONE LEGENDS.
