Humans of New York is a fabulous blog chronicling minute moments in the lives of the weird, wonderful and beautiful souls that inhabit the small stretch of land known as New York City. It is touching, raw, honest, at times hilarious, and at others incredibly moving.
The blog’s usual format consists of a single photo of a stranger accompanied by a quote. No names. No idea. Just a small slice of pure honesty.
But now HoNY appears to be branching out, posting their first ever video, and it is a doozy. In it, we meet an (apparently) one-hundred year old woman, as she talks about the love she has for her husband, who had passed away at some unknown point in the past.
Like the photos, it’s beautiful, moving, and totally worth your time.
