Watch A Teaser For Asher Keddie’s #AusPol Drama “Party Tricks”

Channel Ten, having crunched the numbers and sacrificed a dozen production interns to the ratings gods, are now moving forward with a retooled programming strategy of let’s do as much stuff as possible with Asher Keddie and hope that no one notices (coming soon – Asher Keddie: Bushranger).

That strategy played out again last night when the seriously embattled network aired a teaser trailer in service of their six part political drama series Party Tricks starring the most likeable woman in Australia as Victorian State premier, Kate Ballard, who comes up against (hehe) her former flame and surprise Liberal candidate David McLeod, played by Rodger Corser (Underbelly, Rush, Puberty Blues).

Giving us something which sounds vaguely like House of Cards but with way less casual murder.
“If the story breaks, we instantly and comprehensively deny,” Ballard says. “Deal,” McLeod replies. And then they do the sex and argue about the price of road tolls.
Please mail all of the Logies to Asher Keddie’s agent’s office.
