Geeks get psyched for Comic-Con.
Brazilians get pumped for g-string conventions.
And skaters start foaming at the mouth when they hear Oakley In Residence: Sydney’s coming to town.
Remember, remember the 5th of November, y’all – the day when it all starts going down.
Offering a weekly schedule of workshops, exclusive exhibitions, interactive panel discussions, art installations, athlete meet ups, skate sessions, film screenings/more – the event is essentially the best thing since sliced bread.
Oakley’s bringing in their skateboard icons Eric Koston, Sean Malto and Curren Caples, as well as globally renowned photographer Atiba Jefferson, to open the event. This is something you’ll be telling the grandkids about in years to come.
These legends are being backed up by Sydney athletes, photographers, filmmakers, and influencers across the skate, creative and street communities.
Oakley’s also teamed up with local charities, the Noffs Foundation and Street University, to provide art workshops, screening events and creative collaborations at the event for kids who need a bit of a helping hand. Nawwwww, you guiz <3.
Oakley In Residence: Sydney is the third instalment of the Oakley In Residence ONE OBSESSION brand hub experiences – with similar community spaces taking place in London and Los Angeles.
