Scrappy but dogged Australian point guard Matthew Dellavedova again found himself embroiled in the physical end of the ledger, as his Cleveland Cavaliers march to the NBA Finals moves one step away from realisation.
Dellavedova now has 3 perceived dirty plays in playoffs (Taj Gibson, Kyle Korver, Al Horford). Results: Korver injured. Gibson, Al ejected.

Dellavedova is going to continue to hurt players if he keeps getting away with it. The replays don’t lie. Unacceptable @NBA #HawksVsCavs

He missed and didn’t hit him hard enough for Flagrant2… That’s all. Someone go to clip your knees your gotta react. Horford let up

Dellavedova rolling into Hawks’ player’s leg for 2nd game in a row. Horford lucky he wasn’t hurt badly like Korver. Delly is dirty.

I literally had no idea until tonight people considered Delly diving for the ball against Korver a dirty play. None.

David Blatt on Delly: “There is a pattern of behavior. He plays very hard. He plays very tough but very cleanly.” #micdrop

The fans are chanting “Delly, Delly.” It’s his world.

Matty Dellavedova becoming the Hayden Ballantyne of the NBA! Team & fans love him, opposition not so much. Cleveland crowd chanting “Delly”!

If Delly doesn’t play all out like that, we’re not tweeting about him, ever, to begin with. Al lost his head there.

Delly had another huge game to continue his dream run through the NBA Playoffs, dropping 17 points (including 4 from behind the arc) along with 3 rebounds and 2 assists, as the Cavs dispatched the Hawks 114-111 in overtime to take a 3-0 lead in the Conference Finals.
