Everyone knows Australia’s Summer Music Festival Circuit kicks the crap out of everyone else’s. We’ve got weather fit for a king, beers as cold as the devil’s dick, and musical entertainment that’s so good your ear drums spontaneously turn tie-dye.
And what better time to head outside with 20,000 of your closest mates for a day of fun, sun, and absolutely BANGIN’ tunes than New Years Day?
The annual Field Day festival in Sydney has just dropped its lineup for the first day of 2015, and like the bust of Dolly Parton in an A-Cup bra, it is stacked to capacity.
Headlining proceedings for this year’s proceedings is the almighty hit machine known as SBTRKT, who extends a continuing love affair with our fine sunburnt land. Alongside him are international favourites like Alt-J, Jamie xx and Joey Bada$$, along with a smanging of local flavour from the likes of RÜFÜS, The Kite String Tangle, and Thundamentals.
Throw in an appearance by the beyond legendary Salt N Pepa, and you’ve got yourself a shithot recipe for a shithot day.
