The Last Five Years, which starts at the end of a couple’s marriage then follows their story both backwards (her side of things) and forwards (his) sounds a little like the How I Met Your Mother of musicals.
The coming movie adaptation, however, stars the aca-goddamn-awesome Anna Kendrick, so we’re not complaining. A new trailer arrived today, and shows Kendrick singing a lot, while clad in a yellow bra and flanked by co-star Jeremy Jordan.
The movie is out early next year.
