You can play Mario Kart on the Nintendo Switch in a bunch of different ways depending on how you like to hold your JoyCons. Some folks like to get their lean on with motion controls, while others prefer to use the traditionally modelled Switch Controller.
But now there’s another way to play and it might be cooler than all the others if you’re into cardboard. The company today announced that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe can be played with the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con Motorbike. Look at it below. LOOK.

As you can see, the setup allows you to feel dope as fuck while you destroy your mates’ with red shells. Like a real motorbike, you twist the right handlebar to accelerate, squeeze the break to slow down and steer to uh, steer.
If you’re into that cardboard controller life, you can get the Toy-Con Motorbike in the Nintendo Labo Variety Kit, which comes with the fishing rod and piano as well. Most outlets are flogging it for around $100, but if you have a good look online, you might be able to knock 10 or 15 bucks off that price.
If you already have the Variety Kit, you’ll be able to use the controller as soon as the free Mario Kart update is applied to your game. Enjoy fanging around your lounge room like a complete maniac, champ.
