Do you ever just scroll Twitter sometimes and do a double take over something odd that is trending? I do. I did that this morning actually after I saw “Lady Dimitrescu” doing the rounds. At first I thought it was Bridgerton related (sorry) but I was wrong. I was very, very wrong.
I haven’t dipped a toe into the Resident Evil waters for some time (again, sorry) so I had no idea the franchise had released another trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil Village.
In it, game developers Capcom debuted a villain by the name of Lady Alcina Dimitrescu.
Lady Dimitrescu is a towering vampire woman who is quite frankly terrifying. However, fans are obsessed with her. People have already cosplayed her into infinity, while others have whipped up fan art.

Some people have also been fervently tweeting about just how tall Lady Dimitrescu is. It caused such a raucous on Twitter that Resident Evil Village art director, Tomonori Takano unleashed a statement about the whole thing.
“I wanted to use this opportunity to publicly reflect on the outpouring of positivity we’ve received from the fans on our latest announcement,” Takano wrote.
“Most recently, Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters have received a fair amount of attention, far more than we anticipated. It’s great that they’re able to take the spotlight as icons of Resident Evil Village.
“Lady Dimitrescu, especially, has received much fanfare both domestically and overseas, which has made all of us in the development team extremely happy.”
Wait for it.
“I hear her height is something of interest…”
*drumroll*
“If you include her hat and high heels, she’s 2.9m (approximately 9’6”) tall.
MY GOD.
She’s basically three metres tall. Lady Dimitrescu is making 9’6″ the new 6 feet.
This is the part where I share reacts on Twitter, but they’re – they’re just so horny… and gross. Just imagine what the reactions are like, and you’re probably right.
One, I’ll share one light example:
OR RAISE THEM EVEN HIGHER!

ANYWAY, Takano concluded his statement by teasing Resident Evil Village.
“These bewitching, vampire characters are relentless in their pursuit of Ethan, and I can’t wait for you to meet them yourselves when you enter Castle Dimitrescu in May.
