Bethesda were already sinking their teeth into the Nintendo Switch with the port of Skyrim, but now the publisher is now adding two more titles to the console’s lineup.
2016’s reboot of Doom will be heading to the Switch at some point during the holiday season so you can lay waste to demon scum anywhere you like. The first-person shooter combines the slick graphics of modern games with the classic fast-paced gameplay of the original.
The other title is the upcoming shooter Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, which is due out next month on PS4, Xbox One and PC next month, but will hit the Nintendo console in 2018. Following on from 2014’s Wolfenstein: The New Order, the game is set in Nazi-occupied America after Germany won World War II.
If you need something to tide you over until then, Skyrim will be available on November 17.
We’re excited to bring more of our games to #NintendoSwitch: #DOOM will arrive in Holiday 2017, and #Wolf2 in 2018!

Rockstar also recently announced they’d be sending one of their games over to the Switch. Created in Australia, detective drama LA Noire will be available to purchase on November 14.
It will be interesting to see how Doom and Wolfenstein II handle on the portable console given their hardware intensive graphics, but hey, I’d cop a slightly toned down game to play it on the go.
