Zara Responds To Fkd Lawsuit From Customer Who Found Mouse Sewn In Dress

Yesterday, you might have lost the contents of your stomach when we reported on a woman who found an actual dead rodent sewn into her Zara dress.

Cailey Fiesel, a 24-year-old NYC resident, had bought the $53 (US $40) dress from a store in Connecticut in July. When she wore it to work a few weeks later, she began to notice a “disturbingly pungent odor”, and later, “what felt like a loose string from her dress rubbing against her leg”.

It wasn’t. It was a dead fucking mouse. She is obviously now suing the retail giant for unspecified damages, saying Zara owed her a duty of care to sell her dresses w/o dead rodents sewn into them.

Zara, now in critical damage control, have responded to the lawsuit

Zara USA is aware of the allegation and we are investigating the matter further,” a spokesperson for Zara USA told PEDESTRIAN.TV.

“The brand has stringent quality controls and health and safety standards worldwide that are followed and met in manufacturing, including stitching and pressing.

“We are committed to ensuring that all of our products meet these rigorous requirements.”

On the flip-side, Fiesel has spoken to the NY Post about her nightmare experience about a Zara product that didn’t meet these quality controls.

“I saw the little leg that was coming out of the seam that I had touched, which was really horrifying,” she said.

“I froze — I was paralysed with fear.”

“I was in complete shock. My eyes saw that it was a mouse but my brain told myself it can’t be.”

Absolutely none of this is okay. RIP your appetite, for both new clothes and the thought of ever eating again.
