In a move which is sure to make my girlfriend want to go to Tokyo a month earlier than planned, Yves Saint Laurent is dishing out its new YSL Manifesto this sunday at stores around the world. Better yet, they’ll be stuffed inside free YSL tote bags. Ohh damn!
Here’s the skinny on it.
“For the third season, the YSL Manifesto will again take to the streets with over half a million copies being distributed on September 6th in Paris, London, New York, Milan, Tokyo and Hong Kong. This time round, the manifesto will be held in a limited edition cotton tote bag available in black or white and the first 5,000 passersby in each city will get one. Simultaneously a short behind-the-scene film about the AW08-9 campaign shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin will premiere on YSL.com.”
