Atheleisurewear’s most based god Alexander Wang has overnight dropped the video component of the campaign for his debut denim collection, an Instagram tailored short lensed by photographer Steven Klein and starring Pirelli Class of ’15 alum Anna Ewers.
With respect to their respective creative genius, the video itself is hardly a stretch for Wang and Klein alike – it’s little more than a GIF. The campaign itself however – which dropped last week and which you can view in entirety below alongside select lookbook shots – is nothing short of controversy courting artistry par excellence. I mean, if there’s one thing in this world in which we can take solace, it’s that there’s nothing more effective than an oily, obscured crotch shot when it comes to moving units of haute denim sold at a beyond aspirational price point.
