Skateboarders Tony Hawk, Corbin Harris and iconic LA-based pop artist Mr Brainwash – or Thierry Guetta, who you may remember from Exit Through The Gift Shop – are two of ten headlining speakers announced in the first look at the line-up for Semi-Permanent 2014, the twelfth annual three-day design conference of its kind, this year taking place May 24th at Carriageworks in Sydney.
The always insightful creative festivus has today revealed a roster of guest-speakers that also includes artist Tamara McPherson, photographers Cheryl Dunn and Ben Lowy, Sydney-based designers Henry Wilson and Maud Studio as well as contributions from animation studios including Brissy-based Colin Renshaw of Alt VFX and Carl Addy from London’s Mill+.
