Tom Hanks strikes me as one of those extremely dad-esque Hollywood celebs who would probably be fun to chill with and knock the top off a few froths. He doesn’t have the manic energy of Bill Murray, but you can imagine him doing weird-as-hell shit when the cameras aren’t rolling.
Hanks fulfilled his natural role of father of the bride when he slid into Elisabeth and Ryan‘s wedding photoshoot in New York‘s Central Park, photobombing the bride and groom. It’s pretty fun. Clearly he’s still on a high from saving that damn plane in Sully.
There ya go: you’re basking in the warm afterglow of your wedding celebrations, and bloody Forrest Gump himself emerges from behind a tree to snap some selfies with you.
Of course, the comments on all these posts are flooded with people who now expect Tom Hanks to show up at their wedding, despite the fact I’m pretty sure this was a one-off deal and shan’t ever be repeated.
Sorry, I just don’t think Tom Hanks is gonna hightail it to South Dakota, even if he is a really chill guy.
