The United Nations of Cupco

Luke Temby is the founder of Cupco, the quirky doll-making company responsible for the Dalai Lama, vampire and rainbow Osama Bin Laden dolls that have caused a stir. But Temby didn’t want to stop at making the dolls on his own so he devised a project that involves 100 artists and unites them under Cupco.

The United Nations of Cupco exhibition features artists such as Jeremyville, APAK, Nakanari, and Sixty40. The aim of the exhibit is to allow artists to exercise their right to freedom of creative expression.

The opening party is on tonight and the United Nations of Cupco exhibition continues until December 22 at the Damien Minton Gallery on 61-63 Great Buckingham St, Redfern.
