In Vogue: The Editor’s Eye, an upcoming feature length HBO documentary and thematically related but non-affiliated companion piece to the endearingly candid R.J. Cutler documentary The September Issue, involves humble brag-y interviews with the lifestyle publication’s most iconic fashion editors including the most likeable component of The September Issue, Grace Coddington, Polly Allen Mellen, and US Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour, who briefly warms her sub-zero personality icicles to call the sprawling network of image makers at her disposal a “very close” but “slightly dysfunctional family” that “all have genius in them.”
