St Michael’s Student Investigated By Sex Crimes Unit For Sharing Nude Pics

Seemingly for the umpteenth time this year, a male student at a prestigious private school has come under investigation for the utterly demeaning and disgusting treatment of female classmates.

A student at Melbourne’s St Michael’s Grammar School is under police scrutiny following the discovery of a Dropbox folder containing the explicit photos of several Year 10 and 11 students.

The 16-year-old is thought to have created the folder, which was then accessed by a number of other students.
Detectives at the Moorabbin Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team were informed of the matter by the school, who were clued in to the matter themselves by another student.
Head of school Simon Gipson said St Michael’s would “apply the most severe consequences” to the student if he is found to have breached the school’s expectation of “dignity, respect, care and compassion.”

However, if he’s also breached Victoria’s new so-called “revenge porn” laws regarding “sending or threatening to distribute explicit images without consent,” he may join the ranks of the seven other juveniles charged since 2014.
At time of writing, neither Gipson nor the school have not confirmed if the student in question has been suspended.
This latest incident comes after the expulsion of students at Brighton Grammar for the creation of a “Young Sluts” Instagram account, and the discovery of a garden variety disrespectful-to-women video created by scholars at Melbourne Grammar.
Goddamn. God. Damn.
