You might know Byron Spencer from his work for the Sun Herald’s Urban Style column or for his playful lookbooks for Sydney labels Emma Mulholland and Shakuhachi. You might even know him as the brother of 4th And Bleeker blogger Alexandra Spencer. If you don’t know him at all, acquaint yourself with the Sydney photographer via his newly launched blog Spencer Not Spencer, which, Byron tells us, exists because “my old blog is inaccessible for some reason and I can’t log in to it or change it. It is on the world wide web for life. I felt that was a sign to do something new.” From pragmatic beginnings comes a hearty compendium of off duty models (most notably Olivia Henderson and Anja konstantinova, with the likes of Myf Shepherd, Rachel Rutt and Spencer’s photogenic kin to come), lifted bros, fire play and black and white skinny dipping.
