Most collaborations between chain stores and high end fashion names make me want to scream but when I heard Romance Was Born was mixing business with Sportsgirl I thought, ‘Bless their colourful cotton socks’.
The 12-piece collection will combine the kooky creativity from Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales, with affordability. And, with the financial crisis continuing to disturb the balance of the fashion-forward universe, a new economically viable venture is right up my alley.
The upcoming collection titled ‘Clowning Around’, will be hitting Sportsgirl stores in March. That gives us all plenty of time to recover from Christmas present and retail therapy debt.
