Bing, still furiously trying to make Bing happen (guys, stop trying to make Bing happen!), have released some illuminating search data assuring us that someone somewhere is still using Bing.com to search for stuff on the internet.
“Stuff”, like the majority of the internet, being semi-nude pictures of Miranda Kerr. The model, in the annual report of top keyword searches entered this year on the Microsoft search engine, topped the list of “Most Binged Australian Celebrities” for the second year running ahead of Keith Urban, Jennifer Hawkins, Russell Crowe and Megan Gale.
The most Binged non-Australian celebrities were Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna and Lindsay Lohan while the iPhone 5 launch was the most Binged news story of the year followed by the 2012 Elections, the 2012 Olympics, Hurricane Sandy and search term that we never imagined could be construed as a news story, Honey Boo Boo.
