Inspired in part by National Geographic’s 1978 account of “one woman’s solo outback trek with her camels”, Lonely Hearts extol adventure and independence in the lookbook for their SS11 collection, “Alone”. Shot by Rene Vaile and modeled by diminutive Melbourne model Anja Konstantinova, the range offsets demure offerings such as the washed out sundress and bow embellished jumpsuit with racier options like a revealing lace bike pant (in black or white) and diaphanous floor length shirt. Other pieces we’d like some alone time with? The leather lace up short shorts (of course) as well as the formless oversized shirt and cosmic desert print dress.
