Kirrily Johnston Designing For Dulux

I never thought I’d see the day when I could pick up Kirrily Johnston’s latest looks at Bunning’s.

KJ no doubt painted the town with her Spring Summer 2010/11 collection Apocalypto at this year’s RAFW – but who’d have thought the clothes themselves would take second place to more likely to be found in a backyard shed than a wardrobe: Gracing the runway was the ‘face’ of the limited edition Dulux Kirrily Johnston Colour Palette: “Pewter Illusion”, a collaboration between the designer and the shaggy dog paint brand.

Johnston said “When I met with Dulux and saw their stunning range I instantly knew that Pewter Illusion was the colour I would use.” And so she painted. Could this n-hue partnership mean a revolution for the interior design world? Rumour has it you’ll be seeing KJ on next week’s episode of reality renovation series The Block…

Just kidding.

You can check out the range at www.dulux.com and get a swab of Kirrily Johnston’s runway on your walls.
