Karl Lagerfeld Appoints Kristen Stewart As New Bitchy Resting Face Of Chanel

Kristen Stewart, pictured above being her typically ebullient self at last night’s Chanel Métiers d’Art show in Dallas, is reportedly ecstatic after having been confirmed as the new Bitchy Resting Face of the house that Coco’s alleged Nazi persuasions built. Congratulations, Kiki.
Previously the jutted out lower lip and disaffected gaze of Balenciaga under the tutelage of Nicolas Ghesquière, Kristen Stew will front the storied house’s prairie-chic Pre-Fall 2014 campaign as its lone star, shot by prevailing tastemaker, head designer and creative director Karl Lagerfeld to be unveiled in May 2014. Stewart joins a coterie of previous effervescent Chanel brand ambassadors gifted with the ability to emote to varying degrees of success, including Blake Lively, Keira Knightly and Diane Kruger.
Lagerfeld also last night unveiled his latest feat as a director, a short film titled ‘The Return’ starring Geraldine Chaplin as Gabrielle Chanel on the eve of her 1954 comeback collection opposite Rupert Everett, previous Chanel impersonator Anna Mouglalis, rich lady Lady Amanda Harlech and Arielle Dombasle.
