Following the commercial and critical success of Moulin Rogue Baz Luhrmann has reprised his partnership with Kidman in “Australia” a period epic also starring Hugh Jackman. The unenviable task of imbuing period Australian culture with contemporary European couture fell into the capable hands of Annie Leibovitz who merged the regal with the arcadian in the shoot.
