Here we have two different visual treatments for Kym Ellery’s Zodiac inspired Spring/Summer 2010 collection, “Horreur Scope”. Part one, the moodier of the two, is all sex, smoke and crimson hued hedonism like if In The Mood For Love was filmed entirely from a Hong Kong opium den or something. It’s great.
Part two is more of a standard lookbook featuring Steph Carta, Samantha Harris and Bambi Northwood-Blyth (among others) in Aladdin Sane style makeup and the trademark feminine but edgy styling Ellery balances so well. Both were shot by Daniel Nadel.
