Elke Kramer’s Beautiful Summer Collection

This stunning new lookbook from accessories designer Elke Kramer for her E L K E spring summer 2010-11 collection is one of the most beautifully styled and shot campaigns we’ve seen for a while. The collection, ‘Shake of Ophelia’, has been inspired by the travels of a 19th century beauty across Africa to the intricate maze of the Far East to escape a life of wealth and privilege. A romantic, esoteric concept that’s well reflected in the campaign created by Kramer’s regular collaborator, photographer Chris Morris, and stylists Dave Bonney and Gavin Ainsbury…

The collection features an earthy palette of ebony, jasper, deep beetroot, bloodstone and ash accented with brass and gold clasps. Elongated tassels seen on pendants and earrings shake from beads adorned with traditional motifs, and oversized stones in irregular shapes jut out creating ornamental styles.

E L K E’s latest collection is just hitting stores now so check her website for stockist details.
