In October of last year Pedestrian profiled the hugely talented Sydney-based fashion photographer Darren McDonald [interview here] who, most eloquently, shared stories about the trials and tribulations of pursuing a career in professional photography. Recently we were thrilled to hear Darren had been hired by accessories brand Lovisa to shoot their national campaign.
Lovisa’s marketing manager Chelsea Carey got in touch with Pedestrian to tell us about about working with the talented 27 year old. She said, “I stumbled across Darren’s work through Pedestrian’s feature on him that I noticed in the daily email update. I was in the process of searching for a new photographer for our first campaign and was blown away by Darren’s work and after further investigating on his blog and some innocent Facebook stalking I discovered not only was he was a young, up and coming photographer, but he also happened to be insanely talented.”
