Despite Paris Hilton’s objections there’s only one iconic, blonde haired, pink sporting, plastic doll – and that’s Barbie.
To celebrate her 50th birthday Mattel enlisted the help of 50 designers to transform models into walking Barbies. Also known as every six year old girl’s (and quite possibly some boys) dream come true. With names such as Alexander Wang, Kimora Lee Simmons, Tory Burch, Calvin Klein, Bob Mackie, Vera Wang, Donna Karan, and Diane Von Furstenberg involved and shoes by Christian Louboutin there was some serious design muscle available.
The fashion show however, did little to dispel Ken’s ongoing gay rumours. Sorry dude you’re camper than John Galliano.
