Antipodium A/W 11 – Goodbye Horses

For some people the crispness of Autumn weather signals the beginning of footy season. It feels timely, then, that London-based Australian label Antipodium have taken clear inspiration from the sports field for the Autumn/Winter 2011 collection entitled “Goodbye Horses”. Soft tailoring, grunge layering, earthy Autumnal tones and casual outerwear feature amidst recurring sporty motifs such as New Balance trainers, silk boxing shorts, jockey-style colour blocking, bomber jackets and leather and wool caps.

The lookbook was shot by AJ Numan and styled by Vanessa Coyle, and as far as we know (and please correct us if we’re wrong) “Goodbye Horses” marks the brand’s first extension into menswear with a well executed mix of prep, sports and masculinity.
