It’s hard to believe Australian designer Alice McCall has been producing ultra-feminine shapes since 2004 (that’s 15 years… what). Constantly evolving but never straying entirely from the romantic details the brand has become globally famous for, the brand debuted at NYFW last year to rave reviews.
Now, they’ve dropped their latest 2019 collection, ‘Le Parapluie‘, and taking things back to where it all began, with shapes and details that reflect the designs of that first year in existence. Featuring a campaign starring Sarah Ellen skateboarding in the dreamiest of gowns, it’s highly likely you’ll be picking up your next birthday/wedding/fancy event threads when the full collection drops later this week.

“Luxury comfort,” designer Alice McCall coins the collection. “I just wanted to do the real 90s slips but focus on the cut, really perfect and change it slightly – it’s sexy, flattering, cool.”

Aside from slip styles, there’s plenty of 70s shapes and yes, the gorgeous playsuits and show-stopping dresses we all love.

Here’s our picks from the new threads on offer.

Most of the collection is live on site now, and in stores this week.
