Tiger Woods And Rory McIlroy Star In Clever Nike Ad

Nike Golf have celebrated the signing of World Number 1 Rory McIlroy by releasing the very clever No Cup Is Safe campaign. Far from shying away from any perceived rivalry with fellow Nike superstar Tiger Woods, the brand has tackled the issue head on with Tiger and Rory going tit-for-tat in a boys will be boys duel of one-upmanship.

Apart from being pretty funny, it’s quite a nice way for Nike to pass the ‘face of the brand’ baton.

Tiger may get the last laugh in the ad but it’s Rory who’s laughing all the way to the bank having signed an estimated $200 million ten-year endorsement deal. Wow.
