Novak Djokovic Has Won His Fifth Australian Open Title

Serbia’s Novak Djokovic has beaten Andy Murray to win his fifth Australian Open title, with scores of 7-6, 6-7, 6-3, 6-0
The epic first set lasted for over an hour and 20 minutes. Djokovic persevered through obvious physical discomfort, appearing to injure his hand early on, but it did not affect his game.
Murray, whose girlfriend Kim Sears threatened to steal the show from the stands, started out strong, winning the second set, but choked when it mattered in the final two, ultimately going down 6-0 in the final set.
In a dramatic turn of events, the match was interrupted by protesters waving pro-refugee banners, and play was delayed for around four minutes as security cleared the court and ejected a number of people.
Congratulations to Djokovic on a sterling effort this evening.
