GWS Gun Jeremy Cameron Returns Stranger’s Lost Wallet And Slips Him $50

Jeremy Cameron helped the GWS Giants advance to their first ever AFL grand final this weekend, kicking three goals in a nail-biting win over Collingwood.

One of his most impressive moves, however, came off the field, when he found a lost wallet, and managed to track down its owner Adam and return it to him.

Along with the wallet itself, Cameron left a cheeky gift and a note, writing:

“Hey brother, I found your wallet while having a kick with the boys this morning, before we beat the Pies. Hope it gets back to you! PS I’ve put $50 bucks in it so you can purchase a GWS beanie and scarf.”

“I lost my wallet on Friday night and Jeremy Cameron from GWS found it yesterday, tracked me down, and put $50 in it,” Adam told Pedestrian.

“I’m absolutely blown away by it and his actions. Absolutely first class.”

The Greater Western Sydney Giants are attempting to make a name for themselves as a club with a reputation for good behaviour on the field and off.

Seven News report that a number of the players are part of a WhatsApp group where they share random acts of kindness.

Midfielder Stephen Coniglio recently said on a recent podcast appearance:

“I was filling up my car this morning, there was a lady behind me and it was early in the morning and I paid for her petrol and my petrol. You should have seen her face.”
