Ellie Day Has Officially Forgiven LeBron James For Almost Crushing Her

Ellie Day, who this week had the unfortunate distinction of nearly being crushed by LeBron James when he landed on her during a CavsOklahoma City game, has said that she has no ill will against the NBA legend.
Ellie, the wife of world number two golfer Jason Day, had to be carried from her courtside seat in a stretcher and a neck brace after the mountain-like James collided with her while diving after a ball.
In a statement on Twitter, she said:
“I am okay!! I am incredibly sore and exhausted. Being tackled by that large man I would compare to a minor car accident. My head and neck hit pretty hard so it was really scary. My whole body feels like it was hit by a truck.”

She also had a go at those who suggested that her husband did not do enough to protect her in what was undoubtedly a fairly hectic situation:

“To the crazies that think Jason should have protected me – if he had had time to react, so would have I. Also, I would not have liked both dudes landing on me. LeBron is huge and had such momentum he could not have stopped!!”
She added that she was thankful not to have either of her young children with her at the time of the incident, and thanked fans and well-wishers for their support.
James has apologised both publicly and privately for the incident, and has invited Day back to another game, if she’s feeling brave enough to attend:

Day is not holding a grudge, and Tweeted “we good!” back at LeBron.
