Per the Herald Sun, Goodes told family and friends that Croker gave birth on Wednesday. The couple first announced their pregnancy back in February.
The Final Quarter, a documentary about the two-time Brownlow Medallist and the racially-driven booing he endured from spectators towards the end of his career, is currently showing at the 2019 Sydney Film Festival.
A second documentary about Goodes, The Australian Dream, will premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival Opening Gala come August 1. Written by journalist Stan Grant, The Australian Dream is a story about race, identity, and belonging. It will take viewers back to Goodes’ pre-draft days right through to his career – post-AFL – as a passionate activist for Indigenous rights.
