The Swans confirmed the news on social media this afternoon, tweeting: “Congratulations to Adam Goodes and his wife Natalie Croker, [who] have welcomed their first child – a baby girl named Adelaide into the world.”

Per the Herald Sun, Goodes told family and friends that Croker gave birth on Wednesday. The couple first announced their pregnancy back in February.

The Final Quartera documentary about the two-time Brownlow Medallist and the racially-driven booing he endured from spectators towards the end of his career, is currently showing at the 2019 Sydney Film Festival.

Earlier this week, Channel 10 and WIN Network confirmed both networks will show the documentary on telly. We’ve yet to hear of an official release date but we’ll keep you posted.

A second documentary about Goodes, The Australian Dream, will premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival Opening Gala come August 1. Written by journalist Stan Grant, The Australian Dream is a story about race, identity, and belonging. It will take viewers back to Goodes’ pre-draft days right through to his career – post-AFL – as a passionate activist for Indigenous rights.
