Watch What Happens When Russell Brand Tries To Do A Little Filming At Fox News

Love him or hate him, Russell Brand sure as hell knows how to cause a stir.

The actor/comedian/political viewpoint haver/general provocateur was recently booked to appear on Fox News show Hannity – an hour long hole-filler on Fox’s schedule featuring conservative political pundit Sean Hannity – but the appearance was later canned at the behest of the show.
Not being one to take the removal of a chance to say things lightly, Brand took his own web series Trews (it’s “True News,” geddit?) to the footpath outside the Fox News headquarters in New York.
Like clockwork, security shows up to ruin the party. To his credit, Brand talked rings around them, particularly when challenging them to reveal who exactly owns the building. He then somewhat comically attempts to score himself a tour of the Fox News facilities.
It might have been a carefully controlled stunt, but if you can handle him saying the portmanteau “Trews” ad nauseam, it’s a good watch mainly due to the fact that stupid people are stupid.
