Penrith Panthers Player Tyrone May Arrested And Charged Over Leaked Sex Tape

Tyrone May Arrest

NRL player Tyrone May, of the Penrith Panthers, has reportedly been arrested and charged by NSW Police for his alleged involvement in leaking several sex tapes this week.

9News reports that the 22-year-old attended Penrith Police Station earlier today, where has was charged by police on “two separate charges relating to two separate victims”.

The charges include disseminating images and filming images without consent.

The arrest comes after another explicit video surfaced yesterday, allegedly involving two unnamed Penrith players.

After the May video was circulated last week, Penrith Panthers CEO Brian Fletcher spoke to press on Saturday, saying said the club: “wishes to unreservedly apologise to the club’s members, fans and sponsors for the hurt and embarrassment caused by the videos and subsequent media coverage.”

May had been kept off the team sheet during the Panthers’ 20-0 loss to the Parramatta Eels on Sunday due to an ongoing Integrity Unit investigation.

More details to come.
