Two Men In Police Custody Over Random One-Punch Attack On Brisbane Teen

Cole Miller, an 18-year-old from Brisbane, remains in a critical condition after being being punched in the back of the head. Police say the attack, which took place around 3.30am, appears to have been totally unprovoked.

Detective Acting Inspector Tom Armitt said security camera footage showed the attack to be completely random, and that there’s no evidence Miller’s attacker, one of four men at the scene, had any contact with him beforehand.
Det. Armitt announced there are twenty other detectives searching for the group, who fled Duncan Street in the Chinatown precinct of Fortitude Valley. He also said the attack was “a tragic event.. you feel for that person, you feel for his family.”
