Triple J’s New Apple Music Collab Gives ‘Strayan Tunes Shine Worldwide

Triple J is busting out of Australian airwaves by announcing a collaboration with Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio station.
The definitive Aussie youth broadcaster will kick off the special run of programming as part of their ha-yooje Ausmusic Month. Zan Rowe and Dom Alessio are the first confirmed hosts, and they’ll begin kicking out the jams from Saturday in the U.S.
If you want to catch up on the programming to hear which of our tunes have been deemed fit to release upon the unsuspecting planet, the first program will hit at 11AM local time – that works out to 5AM Sunday, for all the early risers out there.
Apple Music hasn’t been the J’s first foray into streaming, so it slaps a big question mark on the future of the radio station’s Spotify account. Either way, peddling Aussie goodness to more international earholes can only be a good thing.
