Creme Eggs are one of man’s greatest creations, so any variation or homage to the mighty choco-egg is a welcome addition to life.
Say a great big droolworthy hello to: the Oreo egg.
It features the same thick chocolate shell as a Creme Egg (and the same pattern, which is cute), but rather than the gooey Eggy insides, you get vanilla Oreo crème and biscuit filling.
A statement from Cadbury says:
“Cadbury Oreo Easter eggs are ideal for Cadbury Oreo chocolate lovers who can now treat themselves in the lead-up to Easter.While they share a similar eating occasion, that’s where the similarities end. Cadbury Creme Eggs and Cadbury Oreo Easter eggs are two very different tasting eggs.”
The creamy Oreo egg has been available in Canada since last Easter, and arrived Down Under this month (YES, you might just be able to nab one from ya local supermarket literally right now).
