The Top 20 Things We Learnt From Semi-Permanent (via Twitter)

The 10th annual Semi-Permanent design conference has literally just finished at Sydney’s Entertainment Centre, which for the last two days has held a Newtonian pull (Isaac not Helmut) over the creative (“creeeative“) community.

Taking place over the last two days, the events has covered everything from photography to typography, architecture and fashion, with contributions from a stellar line-up of local and international speakers, including super hero impressive paper engineer Benja Harney, the equal parts lovely/wanted Bec Parsons and Bart Celestino, certified influential graphic designer Vince Frost, typographer Luca Ionescu, illustrator Bec Winnel and filmmaker Roman Coppola (who’s pictured above with an 18 year old leopard and was joined by his parents and Jason Schwartzmann via webcam).

If you couldn’t make it to the Sydney conferences – on account of distance or lack of funding – or you want a preview of what awaits you at the event’s Melbourne, Auckland or Brisbane incarnations – here are the top 10 quotes pulled from the Twit’s #SPSYD thread to get your creative gin and juices flowing on a Saturday night.
