That Mean Girls Spin-Off Might Star Jennifer Aniston, Might Hopefully Be Okay

The rumours have been happening for about five years now, and I think we can all agree the ‘sort of’ Mean Girls spin-off has sounded, honestly, pretty dicey.

Most of us feel the same – please don’t ruin this for us what are you thinking why would you even try to top one of the greatest films of our generation, and so on.
While Mean Girls was based on ‘Queen Bees and Wannabes‘, by Rosalind Wiseman, Mean Moms will be based on another of Wiseman’s titles, ‘Queen Bee Moms And King Pin Dads: Dealing With The Parents, Teachers, Coaches, And Counselors Who Can Make—Or Break—Your Child’s Future.’ The story will focus on will focus on a small town mother of two who enters the parenting big leagues when she moves into a wealthy suburb.
So far, the only announcements have been that the film will be directed by Horrible Bosses 2 director, Sean Anders, and that it definitely will not star any of your faves from Mean Girls, including Amy Poehler‘s iconic, eternally-youthful character, Mrs. George
But now, Jennifer Aniston is said to be involved.
There’s no note of which character Jennifer may play just yet, but if it’s anywhere as good as her filthy-mouthed, promiscuous character in Horrible Bosses… well, we’ll be quite okay with that.
We’ll post more updates on this hopefully okay but might be terrible spin-off as it comes – fingers crossed, everyone.
