Some Absolute Douchebags Leaked Hundreds Of Aussie Women’s Nudes Online

You know those people you meet every now and then, and you think to yourself: ‘My god, what an absolute fuckhead’? Well, one of those people has decided to leak hundreds of Australian women’s nude photos on a US site.

While some women’s images are ones that they uploaded themselves via Instagram, Facebook and Tumblr, some are intimate nude images, that were sent to a trusted party and shared online without their consent.
Most of the women involved are from South Australia. One woman requested that her images be taken down via the thread, and was met with the completely inappropriate and disgusting response, ‘Fuck you autistic whore. … You cannot stop us’, and ‘The United States, for its part, still has some freedom left.’
Local police have commented on the leak, saying they are currently powerless to stop it due to the fact that the site is hosted in the United States.
However, Senior Sergeant Barry Blundell has said that he is in communication with federal agencies in order to get the site blocked, and police are attempting to track down the people behind illegally posting the images. He also said that if the poster turned out to be a former partner of one of the women, then they could be charged under indecent filming legislation for distributing images without consent.
‘Well, they shouldn’t have taken nude photos!’ and other similar statements run rife in these situations, but let’s be completely honest with one another, friends: who in this day and age can actually say they’ve never taken a nude photo? We really shouldn’t have to say this, but sharing someone’s nude images that they sent you in trust is a gross invasion of privacy. The people who posted the images deserve shame, not the women who expressed sexual playfulness and confidence in their bodies with a person they trusted in a private setting
We here at PEDESTRIAN.TV wish the police the best of luck with finding these scummy drongos. People who post other people’s nude photos without permission need some time out… in jail.

According to Australian Institute of Family Studies, 1 in 5 women have experienced sexual violence since the age of 15. Publicly sharing intimate images is a form of electronic sexual violence if no consent was given for the distribution.
